Every September our new Transition Years embark on a three day friendship building expedition to Killary Adventure Centre.
With a motto of "Challenge, Inspire, Achieve" this is exactly what this adventure invites the students to do, the idea of participating in the activities is that they promote team work, bonding, communication, personal development and of course fun!
The activities are specifically designed to be those that:
- Involve the whole group as an inclusive unit
- Allow students to stretch their boundaries and move beyond their comfort zones
- Encourage team work, bonding and communication
- Are fun, active, engaging and promote a love of outdoor activity
