There was lots of fun and activity in Mount St. Michael this week as the annual College Awareness Week took place. The College Awareness Campaign aims to celebrate the benefits of going to college and seeks to show how college can be and should be for everyone.
Junior students took part in fun college related classroom activities, while senior students attended a variety of career talks given by members of the community , past pupils and guest speakers from the Higher Education Institutions. Students learned about careers in EU, aviation, radiography,high end TV hospitality, business, law, psychiatric nursing, leisure studies, art, children's studies, psychology, careers in STEM and the application process in Poland for medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, veterinary medicine, and nursing.
A poster competition and treasure hunt was also arranged for the junior school, with lots of prizes donated by ATU , UL, UG, MU.
The whole school community was invited to join, in creating a chalk story based on CAW , the wonderfully talented exchange student Lily Michels in TY designed the original template.
