TY Students at Junk Kouture

Congratulations to our Transition Year Students Aishling Cunniffe, Siobhan Gayer, Christina Guinan and Aisling Reddy who, along with their Art teacher Ms. Cunnane, so ably represented the school at the recent Junk Kouture show at the TF in Castlebar. Their entry was inspired by music and the dress was made from sheet music, CDs, hula hoops and a gramophone record. The creation was made to show the way in which how music is accessed has changed over the years. There were over 1400 entries from around the country. The dress was chosen as one of the 78 from the West to go through to the Regional Final which took place in March.
