More than 4,000 1st year students enrolled in DCU in 2023, 119 of these students who achieved 600+ points in their Leaving Cert examination were awarded the prestigious DCU Scholars Award in the Helix Theatre on Wednesday 29th November 2023. Eibhlín Gallagher, Bachelor of Education in Gaeilge and German, Mount St. Michael Secondary School, Mayo, is photographed receiving her award with Deputy Principal Ann Marie Concagh, Guidance Counsellor Orla Dempsey, Dáire Keogh (DCU President, far left) and Professor Charlotte Holland (Deputy Dean of DCU Institute of Education, far right).
