Student Council
The Student Council consists of Leaving Cert Students who are elected by the student body. One student is assigned to represent each class.
A Student Council Liaison teacher assists the council in its work.
The role of the Student Council is:

To represent student views to management.

To be recognised as partners in policy development.

To work in partnership with the management of the school to improve school atmosphere, conditions and facilities.

To provide students with opportunities of leadership.
-
To improve communication between staff, students and management.
The Student Council 2011/2012 have attended a 3 hour training programme to spring board the year into action.
They will be presented to the school and awarded the Student Council badge at our first gathering of the whole student body at the opening of the year Mass on September 17th.
