Choir
The school choir is made up of students from Second Year to Leaving Cert. Rehearsals take place one day per week, after school, with extra rehearsals, if needed, at lunchtime. The choir sings at all Religious and Liturgical services in the school.
Last May the choir performed a piece in Japanese which was especially composed for them by the composer Ian Wilson. On September 22nd they will perform a lunchtime concert in the school Gym with ConTempo String Quartet. The concert will last for 40 minutes, admission is free and all are welcome.
Class based choir takes place weekly for First Years and Fourth Years. In February 2011 the First Year choir performed with the Cross Border Orchestra in the Royal Theatre Castlebar.
